To be feminine is to be fearless. It is to take immeasurable risks to master our own bodies and control our own space. What is often deemed frivolous is actually essential: feminine energy can fuel the world and fill it with fun. I paint to capture this multi-leveled intensity. In my portraits, I use loud, unapologetic colors, as well as fluid shapes and sizes. I’m inspired by today’s boundary-pushing fashion and the people that wear it. My subjects are powerful women in my life who make bold choices every day. The work I make is meant to elevate their essence and represent the chroma that they exude every day.
